Vintage Perpetual Calendar buy Desk Calendar Silver Colour Shiny Chrome with Red Lettering 1950s Vintage Made in England
A lovely very stylish vintage perpetual desk calendar with dials to spin day both.
A lovely, very stylish vintage perpetual desk calendar with dials to spin day, both digits of the date and month. Made from engine turned chromed metal of a shiny silver colour, it would look fantastic on any desk or table.
Would say it dates from 1950s (possibly 1940s), and is stamped 'Made in England' on the back of the calendar. It has a lovely weighted feel to it.
This is a more unusual version with red lettering.
The base measures 10cm (4 inches) wide by 4.5cm (2 inches) deep and it stands 5cm (2 inches) high.
It weighs 235g (8½oz).
The dials all work well and condition overall is fair vintage condition - there is some marking to the surface and a few marks here and there as to be expected for an item of this vintage, but overall it is a good vintage example.
This would have looked fantastic gracing a desk back in the mid 20th century, and now it could grace yours...
