This textile is a wonderful, Antique / Vintage European hand-woven, heavy Stair Runner roll that I am selling here BY THE YARD. ~*~

Ideal for any period interior ~This lovely textile was used to make very heavy grain sacking fabric, but now these bolts make great stair runners! This bolt of homespun dates from the 1920's-1930's ~ and is 100% woven by hand. This bolt has a twill weave and is woven using a wondaful , natural toned threads! ~ Gorgeous Prussian blue stripes with a wonderful warm two-toned ground! ~* This textile is a wonderful heavy weight, extremely durable, and coarse! ~ *~ I love knowing that these textiles were produced without the use of chemicals so are totally natural buy, organic textiles. ~*~ For easy stair runner instructions, please see below, and see condition below. ~*~ ( EL 62J

MEASUREMENTS: I am selling this length by the yard so each quantity will measure about 23 inches wide by 1 yard long. If you would like to receive a longer, continuous length simply increase the quantity and you will receive one long, uncut piece up to 8 yards in length. Any measurement over 8 yards will come as a separate piece of fabric.
For example, if you need 3 yards for your project, simply change the quantity to 3 and you will receive a length of fabric measuring 23 inches wide by 3 yards long. If you need 9 yards for your project, simply change the quantity to 9 and you will receive a length of fabric measuring 23 inches wide by 8 yards long and a separate piece measuring 20 inches wide by 1 yard long. PLEASE NOTE : BECAUSE THESE BOLTS ARE ANTIQUE AND ONE OF A KIND UNIQUE, WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO ACCEPT RETURNS OF ANY PURCHASES OF LESS THAN 3 YARDS LONG.

CONDITION : This bolt is in as found, unwashed condition ~ this bolt is in really lovely condition for these textiles, for sure! One side has a pale dirty line that runs down the center as it was once folded in half and stored that way! there are some small marks too on this bolt ~ But generally it's in gorgeous condition for these textiles, for sure! ~*~

STAIR RUNNER INSTRUCTIONS: These textiles are built to withstand generations of use~ To measure your stairs, simply lay a piece of string and follow the entire area as the runner will lay, then simply measure the string! ~*~* ~*~ I have sold many many of these rolls as stair runners and people have raved about them for a very long time. Fitting is usually done with a thin felt underlay and then either tacked, nailed or stapled to the stairs or stair rods can be used. This roll would also be wonderful cut into smaller rugs, table runners, stair runners or hallway carpeting OR would make a very rustic table runner~ it has a wonderful unique look, very special indeed~*~ ~*~!!! It would give so much warmth and flair to any room! ~*~ ( I have attached a couple of photographs of my runners in use~ so beautiful, so unique ~ a lovely piece of textile history; brought back to add beauty to our lives today~*~ ) These heavy textiles are far better to either dry clean or spot clean as needed. If laying as a stair runner, simply treat as you would any other rug to clean! ~
