High-Quality Black and Dark brown human hair Sideburns knotted on film lace.
I will usually use a mix of 2 - 5 colours, the main colour with a darker tone and lighter tone to make it look more realistic.
Each piece is designed, and hand made by myself and is very natural looking. Its lightweight makes it comfortable to wear.
This is a brand new item which is great for Film / TV / Theatre. The fine lace will be undetectable on the screen.
The Sideburn lace has been left long so you can trim it to your liking.
The hair has been dressed and will hold it's shaping.
I am a Graduate with Honours from Vancouver Film School's Make-up Design for Film & TV program. I then apprenticed with a Wig Master for six years, working on wigs and facial hair for A-list actors, movies, TV, and Theatre.
I was the Wig Designer for Vancouver Opera before moving to the Okanagan. Designing and creating as well as working backstage in the Wig Department.
NOTES to Apply:
Always do a small patch test to ensure you or your actor does not have an allergic reaction.
Apply your piece using an adhesive like Spirit Gum for shorter wear (Ben Nye or KD151 are brands I like), Mighty Tite for daily wear (a Walker Tape product) or Ultra Hold for longer day/week wear (also a Walker Tape product).
Do not glue the entire footprint of the piece but rather the lace edge to hold in place. Use a tail end of a comb to press the lace into the glue gently. Careful not to press the hair down into the glue.
NOTES buy to Remove:
Again do a small patch test to ensure your adhesive removal product does not cause an allergic reaction.
For Spirit gum: 99% Alcohol. Mighty Tite and Ultra Hold, you can use C-22 Solvent.
Using a flat brush, gently work the edges of the lace to remove. DO NOT scrub the lace as you do not want to distort or tear it.
NOTES to Clean:
It is imperative to clean your piece after removal. By doing so, you will not get the build-up of adhesive.
In a small container, pour some of your removal solvents. Gently place the piece lace side down into the solvent and sit for a couple of minutes to break up the glue. Remove and place on a towel and pat dry. You can use a Q-tip and gently dab the area for any excess glue that did not remove.
NOTES to Store:
Once your piece is clean, it is a good idea to store them back in the cases they came in. Making sure that the lace is laid flat.
