DESCRIPTION : CARVED Reclaimed SLATE Garden PLAQUE with LAWN STAKE
Each unique plaque is individually Handcrafted for you at T. Michael Studios from Grey / Brown slate. Rustic, Hand-cut slate and Semi-Polished with natural chipped edges. Stone Carved. (Check out our other ADDRESS PLAQUES in our ETSY STORE)

SIZE : 7.5" x 10.5" Natural shape stone , around 1/4 -3/8 " thick.

Each piece of slate is very special and unique. It was once used as an Architectual Slate shingle that has been reclaimed from Historical buildings and barns throughout the heartland. Every piece that leaves my studio has a history of its own, and a journey that it has taken. Once I receive it, I sculpt it and mold it into a new form for someone who now will use it to enhance their life and create a new history with their family.

HISTORY : Slate is a very durable rock formed in the earth over 400 millions ago. It has a very low absorption rate to water, which makes it great for outdoor conditions. Even with its thin properties, it very durable and strong which is why it's used buy in many industrial applications, such as : roofing, pool tables and blackboards.

QUALITY : What separates me from the others, is a high attention to detail and quality. I make sure each plaque is crafted to my high standards and won't send anything out until I am satisfied, which makes you satisfied....I take geat pride in what I do and have been passionately working in the arts for 12 years now and make these slate plaques for wonderful people around the world.
