40's Sterling Demi Parure, Vintage Sterling Blue Rhinestone, Floral Brooch and Earrings , Vintage Flower Jewelry buy Set

A GREAT demiparue! - 40's era Vintage Sterling Floral Brooch with Blue Plastic Rhinestones. It was common during wartime to use plastic instead of glass since many things were rationed for the war. These are only marked sterling but no company name. Where these production pieces or made by a skilled hobbyist? I'm not sure but the set it lovely!

This little brooch is stamped STERLING on the back of the stem and the earrings are stamped on the back of the screw (very hard to see!).

The brooch measures 3" long,3/4" wide. It has a thick stem with two flower heads and two folded leaves on it. There are blue plastic rhinestones prong set in the centers of the flowers. The stem is straight and pin works great.

The earrings are slightly different and more leaf like. They are screw backs and have oval stones in the exact same color blue. The stones are surrounded by 5 small leaves, almost in a wreath like formation. They are roughly 1 1/4" tall and about 3/4" wide.

It's a WONDERFUL set to add to a collection or wear as is!
