Individually Handmade Box buy by Artist - This box is a one of a kind piece. This box is sturdy and should last 'forever' and can be passed down to others and/or make beautiful gifts. The box has numerous uses, both for decoration or used to hold personal items, ...or simply a conversation piece and/or collectable.

They are made from scratch, each piece cut to size and fitted and hand sewn. Very durable. The top of box is hand painted on muslin and the actual box is sewn with a complementary material.
It takes 12 hand cut pieces of board, by artist to assemble. Then lined with batting before covering. Top of box is double layered w/ batting. Just FYI: I use one of my original boxes, made 40 yrs. ago, for a sewing box and use top inside to keep sewing needles handy.

I've made approximately 35 boxes in 40 years.
