Folk buy art painting gold mining family by L. Webb

We live in Southern Appalachia and I run across paintings fairly often....usually quite rustic and pretty much always charming. This one appears to be a mining family checking out their day's bounty in their log cabin.

The painting is done is oil or acrylic on a canvas board that is 14 by 18 inches. It is framed in a very simple wood frame without glass. The frame shows some wear along its edges but the painting is in very good condition. The entire piece measures 16.5 by 20.5 inches.

It is signed L. Webb at the lower buy right.
