This adorable boy wearing a newspaper hat is riding his hobby horse. The figurine is previously loved, Antique but in very good condition. None of his fingers have been broken or chipped. This Lefton China #972 Figurine is marked Hand Painted on the bottom. George Lefton founded the Lefton Co. In 1941, and the Lefton Co. is known for manufacturing a variety of delicate China.
I also have a listing for an antique Lefton China Sisters Figurine as well in my Etsy shop-- the older sister is leaning over a baby sister in a baby carriage. The last photo shows them pictured together--but they are for sale buy separately. The two Lefton figurines (listed separately) have been stored in a glass China cabinet in our home since the early 70's. These figurines are probably from either the 40's or 50's.
This sweet boy on his hobby horse figurine measures almost 6" Tall x about 2" Wide (from wheel to wheel) x 3 3/4" deep (from the here's nose to back of the toy's platform). Please see photos as they are part of the description.
I will gladly combine shipping on items purchased together or on the same day, in order to reduce the cost of shipping. Any postage overages exceeding $2.00 will be refunded the overage amount.
