A beautiful pink and white teapot which would look wonderful for afternoon tea although would look fabulous in your china cabinet along with your collection of teapots.
These were normally made abroad for the English tourist industry, people were able to collect items from wherever they visited as a memoir to be proud of.
The spout is a really ornate shape along with a gilt stripes.
The teapot is about 6 1/2 inches from spout to handle, about 4 1/4 inches high.
The teapot is in fair condition and there are no chips, cracks or any crazing but there is a forked hairline on the front.
It is nice and clean and in fine fettle for the age.
It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display, practical piece or authentic period prop.
