This specimen is a Brazilian Smokey Quartz Crystal Cluster that has it's dark grey, nearly black quartz crystals growing upright, at an angle, and even prostrate on the cluster surface. This piece has been irradiated after mining in southern Brazil, to intensify the dark grey smokey quartz natural coloring. This specimen has well formed scepter and double scepter points, some bisecting others as they formed in the Earth. The crystals have many different width and lengths, the longest being 2" long and 3/4" thick. The cluster is still embedded in the matrix stone in which this gem cluster formed.
