A Simplicity 2931…a Misses Daytime and Evening Length Gown Sewing Pattern in Size 14, Bust 32.

The unprinted pattern is cut and all the pieces are there. The instructions are there with foxing. The envelope is in good vintage condition with wear, tanning, stains, splits and tiny tears. The envelope flap is still attached. There is no copyright date but following the guide this pattern is 1938.

The pattern almost looks uncut, I did not see any pinning holes or scissor marks. I could have missed them so lets just say the pieces are very nice. There was also a second Piece D which doesn't match this pattern but I left it in anyhow. Perhaps you can figure what the original seamstress had in mind.
