Official 1964 - Mickey Mantle stamped autograph - Rawlings Baseball
This baseball made by Rawlings, the official maker/brand of baseballs for Major League Baseball, is a 1964 ALL STAR game souvenir.
The All Star game was played in New York City at Shea Stadium. This type of baseball could be purchased at a souvenir stand there or after the game at Yankee Stadium.
This ball was found in an old duffel bag full of other baseballs & sporting goods. It was covered in dust/dirt.
We carefully cleaned the leather on the baseball to remove as much dirt as possible without harming the buy leather cover.
The ball cleaned up but does show its almost 60 years old age.
The black ink Rawlings logo & stamped Mickey Mantle signature are clear and show nicely against the aged leather baseball.
An excellent piece of baseball memorabilia for a Mickey Mantle, NY Yankees, or Baseball Hall of Fame fan.
