French 1950s eyeglasses with gold and lucite frame. Small vintage geeky look glasses.

These classic browline glasses have a light olive brown top, attached with tiny screws to a gold brow frame that creates the bridge. There is Doublé Or mark with the mark P+S and Lamine or Lavine on the bridge. Surrounding the bottom of the lenses is clear lucite plastic and incorporates the nose pieces. The arms are encased in lucite of the same colour as the browline.

The glasses are in excellent condition overall, with no apparent defects but there is a little patina of age around the lenses. The vintage lenses in these glasses are prescription for seeing far away. We would anticipate you would replace them with your own prescription or clear glass for costume purposes.

As is typical of this time and style these are not large glasses. They would fit a child or small headed adult. Please check measurements carefully, particularly frame width and arm length, as we do not accept returns for eyeglasses not fitting.
