Japanese Pottery, Somayaki buy Soma Ware Choice of Dishes or Sugar and Creamer, Octagari by Soma Ware, Hashi-uma, Double Walled Cups, Crackled

This is a choice of 8 pieces of Japanese Somayaki Soma Ware cups and plates or a sugar and creamer set. No chips or cracks. This beautiful green/gray Japanese pottery is famous for its crackled look to the finish. It does appear to have some crazing beneath the crackled look finish. I did a lot of research on this unique vintage Javanese pottery. I found it to be described in various ways: Ocagari by Somayaki; Soma Ware; features the Hashiri-uma gold galloping horse motif that is thought to have originated in the 1600's at the request of an ancient Japanese feudal lord. The cups and the sugar and creamer feature the iconic double wall with the 3 heart cut-outs.
