Beautiful Vintage Set of 4 Japanese H.F.T.C. Matte Black on White with Hand Painted 24K Gold Landscape Watermil Artwork Porcelain Dessert Plates 7.5" Diameter. This is a very RARE and Hard to Find Japanese Antique Set. It appears to be a Kutiani decorated set. Great artwork with lots of colorful details on matte black. I have more matching pieces listed elsewhere including a couple of lithophane cups. Marked HANDPAINTED / 24K. G. / H.F.T.C. under the foot. The decoration and borders point these being buy by Kutani. See the photos. Circa early to mid 1900s when the production of lithophane cups ended. Japan. Approx. 7.5” Diameter X 0.6 Tall. Good previously owned antique condition. They have some signs of age or use including some marks in the black that may or may not come out, some small scratches and marks. Some rubbing and loss ot finish on the black.
