Vintage Red Glass Hurricane Oil Lamp

Oil lamps were common before the widespread use of electricity. This beautiful red glass lamp comes with burner, wick, and chimney. The red coloring on the lamp is fading and is worn off particularly along the base. The burner screws in and out easily and a wick in it moves up buy and down easily as well. The burner is rusty. The chimney protects the oil soaked wick from drafts. This chimney has a hobnail design across the top. No chips or cracks. It also comes with a package of extra wicking.

The lamp measures 18.5" x 6.5".
