1940s Houbigant Mini Compact, Vintage Compact, Mini buy Mirror Compact, Compact Mirror, French Compact, Small Compact

This is a lovely vintage mini powder compact from circa 1940s. It was made by Houbigant of Paris and comes in a presentation bag. It would be a fabulous gift.

It has a lovely gold tone buy or brass exterior with patterns on both the lid and base. The hinge and clasp work well. The lid opens to show a mirror and powder area.

The powder area has some powder in which has been used lightly. There is a powder puff which appears to be unused.

It is in good vintage condition. There is a little misting to the mirror from age and the odd mark but it still provides a good reflection.

It measures 3.9cm diameter (1.5 inches). The depth is 1.1cm (just under 0.5 inches).
