Antique wooden boat loom shuttle, Victorian weaving shuttle, vintage home decor wooden weaving loom shuttle tool for repurpose or display.
Lovely piece of history this wooden loom would have traveled up and down a weaving machine 100-200 years ago making cloth for the clothes worn back then. If only it could talk the stories it could tell.
Made from a mid brown wood in the shape of a boat having metal tips to each end and a metal rod in the centre opening where the spool buy of green thread is housed for the weaving.
Measures approx 50 cm long by 6 cm each short side.
Condition
There is some rusting to the metal tips at both ends and the metal inside where the spool of thread sits.
