Two French earthenware pots - vintage glazed ironstone conserve jars.

These 'Terre de Fer' pots are perfect on the breakfast table for jams etc, great for buffets and look lovely as part of a French home decor scheme.

The taller one is a lovely buttery cream colour and measures approx. 3.5" (9cm) high x 3.5" (9cm) diameter.

The shorter on is a creamy/beige colour with lovely crackle glazing inside and out. It measures approx 3" (8cm) high x 4.5" (11.5cm) diameter.

The pots are clean. The taller one buy has a fine hairline crack from the rim (it is stable) and a couple of chips in the glaze at the top. The smaller one One has some misses in the glaze below the rim and nicks in the glaze around the top of the rim. Both of them have small blimps in the glaze that occur naturally during manufacture.

This is a sweet pair of pots and a great French gift idea.
