This 8" tall X 5" wide suncatcher is constructed with 9 pieces of glass in the copper foil technique.
The robe is a piece of vintage multi colored Wissmach Granite textured glass. The hair is a wispy Spectrum "root beer" color. The earth is Youghiogheny stipple glass.
She is finished off with a copper patina which helps emphasize the details.
The last photo shows the piece laying on a table in reflected light.
This piece hangs by a strong thin plastic coated metal braided cord.
As in all our work this suncatcher is very sturdily made. The outside edges have a substantial amount solder built-up over the copper foil base metal so it can be safely washed with dish detergent and warm water.
