The total garment length of this dress (from underarm to floor) is 29" and the waist to floor length of the skirt is 22". The torso length of this already completed dress is 7". Normally, we custom make each dress ordered in our shop to tailor fit the little ones wearing them. That accounts for the 5-6 week wait time for our creations as well as the higher price for all those detail customizations. This particular dress is already made, having been the prototype we created to take the pictures of this dress. This beautiful tulle-skirted tutu dress is strapless, but ribbon shoulder straps or flower petal shoulder straps are available options in our custom-made dress purchases.
"How do I know if this will fit my little one?" That's a great question! We suggest taking accurate measurements of your little one to ensure that this ready-made garment will fit. (The last image of the pictures provided with this listing might help visually explain a few measuring things and terms.) Points to consider are (1) what is the usual dress size that your little one wears? (2) what is their chest measurement, and (3) where will the already made measurements of this dress fit on your little one? (The total garment length is measured in a straight line from the underarm crease [the armpit] to where the edge of the dress stops [the lower edge/hem] [illustrated in the last photo/image associated with this dress listing].) "What if I need a size different than what is listed in the drop-downs?" The only sizes listed with this purchasing link are those for the dress that is already made. Custom sizes and purchases are a different link and a different price than this listing.
"What's a liner? and how do I know if I need one?" This is probably our most commonly asked question. The bodice of this dress is constructed with a waffle-like mesh material (perhaps best seen in the photographs of the back of the dress). On our custom-made dresses we can construct this dress with lining options, so that no skin is showing through the waffle-mesh in the bodice area, and a built in slip can accompany a dress. On this ready-made dress, it has been created without any lining at all. Tulle, by nature, is sheer. We would definitely suggest wearing shorts or a slip beneath this dress. (Also tulle, by nature, can bunch naturally with wear. The tulle strips used to create these dresses are no different than any other tulle and can do the same. Included with your purchase are care instructions detailing options we can suggest to achieve optimal wear results with your dress. Care instructions can also be provided, upon request, should you misplace those we send along with your purchase.)

"How was this dress made?" This is a natural thing to be curious about. We'd be happy to share how we created this gorgeous little thing: Our very first step was to create the bodice of this dress. Step 2 was to attach the tulle skirt. Then, in Step 3, we accented the bodice and high-quality, beautiful tulle with elegant flower petals and coordinating bead centers. Our flower petals are attached with a durable adhesive. The centers of our flowers are double bonded to ensure maximum adherence. (Note: some of our custom colors have a more starchy petal used to construct the gorgeous dress. If petal texture is a critical component for you, please contact us to inquire regarding this for your ordered color of dress.) Each of our dresses is handmade to order in a smoke-free home.
