buy The Celtic and Saxon manuscript art of the Book of Kells, Lindisfarne Gospels, and other texts has captivated me ever since I was a young boy. I have always wanted to create books and art pieces in those majestic ancient styles that fused Christianity with the older tribal motifs. I recently fulfilled this dream and completed a fully hand-painted Gospel book in the Insular style, which I am calling "the Tamburn Gospels". Each of the four canonical gospels features numerous full page illuminations, including the cross carpet pages, one of which I am also offering here as a stand-alone giclée print, or hand-drawn and illuminated page.
