A MOUNTED DISPLAY of the autograph of NIGEL STOCK (1919 – 1986), on hand signed cut page with a photo of the quad poster from the 1963 film "THE GREAT ESCAPE".

In this classic war film, he played Cavendish "The Surveyor".

Other major films included "Brighton Rock" (1947), "The Dam Busters" (1955), "The Battle of the River Plate" (1956), "The Lion in Winter" (1968), "Cromwell" (1970), "The Mirror Crack'd" (1980) and "Young Sherlock Holmes" (1985). He starred as Dr Watson in the BBC tv series "Sherlock Holmes" (1964-1968).
