This piece is unglazed, unpainted bisque.
Great for painting with either acrylic paints or ceramic glazes. This can be glazed and fired to cone 06 or simply painted with acrylics and displayed as is. When painting, wipe first with a damp cloth and allow to dry completely.
You simply can't go wrong with these awesome paint your own ceramics. Makes a great family fun project for kids and adults alike! Host a child's paint your own buy ceramic painting party and give them a memory that will truly last a lifetime. Most of the pieces we sell are made in house, while others are from local distributors. Please allow up to 5 days for processing.

How is the piece made? Ceramic artist pours the liquid clay (slip) into a mold. She lets the piece dry until it is dry enough to open the mold and then continues to let it dry completely. Afterwards, she cleans the piece (taking off the seam line and fixing any imperfections) and then fires the piece in a kiln at cone 04. Now it's ready for you to paint!

You don't have to be an experienced ceramic artist to paint. Buy a piece, get some acrylic paint and brushes, and have fun! Ceramic painting is a fun and calming hobby for all adults and children.

Please note: Our ceramics made in-house may or may not contain small imperfections which add to their character and makes each piece one-of-a-kind, therefore no two are exactly alike.
