Vintage buy Schuco Rhinoceros Stuffed Toy

This little rhinoceros measures approximately 3 inches x 5 inches and certainly resembles a Steiff, but it appears to be a Schuco creation and Schuco was Steiff's main competitor. His mohair body and markings are excellent. Time and atmospheric conditions have created a small stress area at the seam where the ears attach. Other than that (which looks bigger in the picture than on him), he is in good shape. My mother was always on the look-out for cute little animals to complement her Steiff collection, so I'm not sure where she may have found this little guy, but he's been around for a long time. buy
