In 1979 Hallmark introduced a limited edition set of American Dolls around Christmas Time. The American dolls represented some of America's most patriotic and recognizable people in history. Mark Twaine, Davey Crockett, PT Barnum, Clara Barton, Molly Pitcher, a Native American Indian Woman and a couple of others. The came inside of a Hallmark Box that represented their environment. Most boxes have been lost or damaged. However, I do have one Indian Box without the Indian. I am sure someone who collects these dolls may need it. You may buy the lot for $70, wood box included.
