Product code: MAD SEASON - Above - Vinyl LP - NEW SEALED - Un- SPUN buy
BRAND NEW Music on Vinyl- Re- Release from 2013 Above is the only studio album by the American rock band Mad Season, originally released on March 14, 1995 through Columbia Records. The album has been certified gold by the RIAA in the United States. Layne Staley also did the album artwork on the cover. My opinion, ‘after' Temple of the Dog, greatest supergroup to form from the 90's until recent years. Layne's voice has a rusty beautiful sound I don't hear with Alice In Chains, his subtle melody change, or set before the Bands smoother, buy more technical sound just has a different feel than Alice In Chains. Dog feels like Soundgarden & Pearl Jam, This is something new. Both feel excellent! McCready goes from simple chords 2 shredding w/ break neck speed, unlike his regular progression of technical amazing, maybe slower to just technically insane solos and bridges which usually take whole song to build, this LP he goes that distance with each intro to chorus, compliment Laynes voice so well.
