If your rustic or farmhouse kitchen has room for one more piece, make it this mid-century steel and wood antique coffee bean grinder. It's wonderful!

The grinder is marked Armin Trosser on a label on the front. On the bottom is marked Made In West Germany 446/2. It dates back to the 1950s.

The body is made from a blond coloured hardwood. The crank and top piece are steel. The crank has a large wooden knob. The coffee grinder has a bottom drawer to hold the coffee once ground. The steel top turns and opens to add the coffee beans.

Dovetail corners in the drawer make it buy even more interesting as does the little pullout drawer itself and pretty wood knob on the drawer.

It measures 8.5-inches tall to the top of the handle. The base measures 4 3/8-inches X 4 3/8-inches square. To the top of the grinder (without the handle) it stands 5.25-inches tall.

The grinder is in good condition with a nice layer of lacquer on the surface - some wear on the wood from use and age, adding to its rustic appearance. The steel parts are in good condition with lots of surface tarnish. The handle turns beautifully.
