This is an original acrylic landscape painting. Landscapes have always been my favorite subject to paint and were what I made when I first started learning how to paint. Most of my landscapes are painted from imagination and made up and painted in one session. Usually they are inspired and informed by my home, desert scenes, or memories of places I've been or places I'd like to go. This painting features mountains and a tumultuous swirling sky, perhaps before or during a storm.
Painting is a 6” x 6” square with an extra deep canvas measuring 1 1/2" deep.

Each painting is varnished with a high quality matte varnish to protect the surface and paint from UV damage, dirt and dust, etc. The finish is archival but does not effect any of the visible details such as brushstrokes, texture, or colors of the painting. Painting will be signed with acrylic paint with my initials or signature on either bottom right corner or right side of canvas as well as labeled on the back.
