This pair of vintage Zuni made post earrings features a traditional Sun Face figure with inlay done in turquoise, black jet, mother of pearl and red coral. Each earring contains 24 separate pieces of stone and shell inlay and measures approximately 0.6875 inches in length by approximately 0.6875 inches in width.
All inlay pieces are mounted in a solid back sterling silver bezel setting. The backside is finished with a solid sterling silver post. Each earring comes with a brass and clear plastic disc backing. The backside of each earring is marked: STERLING (Hopi Guild mark)

This pair of Zuni Sun Face turquoise, jet and mother of pearl inlay sterling silver post earrings is vintage and has been worn. The inlay in both earrings is in excellent condition and free of any major visible cracks or chipping. There are some very tiny natural surface imperfections commonly found in coral and natural turquoise (see photos). The sterling silver bezel settings and posts are all in great condition and free of any major visible wear. Both brass and clear plastic disc backings are in excellent new and unused condition.
