Product code: Philodendron buy Pluto/Philodendron Caramel, well rooted from USA seller

This plant is well rooted and has been in my care since mid December. New leaves unfurl a lovely bronze color. As it sizes up the leaves will become wider with more of the jagged "teeth". It arrived in my possession in soil. I have cleaned those roots a lot, but not perfectly before placing the plant into moss a few months ago. I was led to believe it was a lightly variegated/reverting caramel marble. It was misrepresented to me in a trade. I have not seen any variegation at any time on the plant. It isn't the plants fault, so it needs a forever home to appreciate it for the beauty it has!
It has grown inside my home since it has been in my possession. It has never been outside, or even in a greenhouse, for at least 6 months. That means it is acclimated for home conditions similar to mine. It is ready for soil or moss as is.
You will receive the exact plant shown.

The plant will continue growing in moss until shipping. It will then ship to you in moss. My home has a humidity range of 45 to 60%, and temperatures of 74 degrees and higher.

Be aware that by purchasing you are agreeing to and agreeing that you understand all information in this section.

I am a collector/seller, doing my part to make shopping for plants a happy, stress-free, joyous experience! I am blessed to have an older collection I was able to acquire by having friends all over our gorgeous planet. I am old to plants, and old to selling plants. I keep and propagate in my home.
If you need the plant urgently by a specific date, please make a note at purchase. Otherwise, I promise, I will get your plant shipped at my first available opportunity. Shipping correctly takes a lot of time to be done correctly. I normally start the day before I plan to ship, working through the night, and into the shipping day.

You will find your plant will be meticulously packaged, often using some odd "up-cycled" materials I save around my home for shipping. I also have a nearby store that occasionally gives me supplies when they are instructed by their corporate office to throw them away. It may look odd opening a box full of re-used bottles (from my home, washed, often with the bottle top cut away), smaller boxes, and posterboard, cups, containers, to go boxes, folders, and colored papers in particular that have been damaged and cannot be sold at a nearby retail store. I never know what may make the perfect shipping container. I also use recycled insulation when needed consisting of huge sheets initially used to insulate pallets of chocolate and other products, that the retail store would normally dispose of in their dumpster. I live in an extremely rural area where recycling opportunities are only available to those willing to drive their recyclables to another county with a larger city. Therefore it pleases me to be able to recycle via shipping. Please do not think I have purchased any plastics or paper products (aside from the occasional shipping box) for the purpose of shipping. I am doing what I can to preserve our environment.

Be aware, this shop is currently operated in full by yours truly. I am but one extremely happy person, with a lot of beautiful plants to offer. I am not Amazon, nor can I ship as quickly as Amazon. I do not hear notifications when I receive messages. But I do periodically check and reply. I am particularly available online for messaging from Sunday evenings through Wednesday. Later in the week I may need more time to reply. If you want clean, home acclimated, home propagated, "rare and uncommon," interesting, healthy, beautiful, amazing and easy to grow plants, shipped with overly meticulous care, using recycled/up-cycled products, access to my houseplant knowledge obtained from years of hands-on houseplant growth, then give me a try and realize how great dealing with an actual caring individual is. Please, be patient and trust that I am doing a great job on a great order for you. You will not be forgotten.
I always send the plant seen in the photos. Unfurling or still soft leaves get special attention, and if I realize I have a better looking plant or a plant with fully hardened leaves that will travel better then I will give you the choice to swap. I provide a huge amount of individual care that larger sellers simply cannot do.

If you have purchased for a special occasion, please inform me. I can make arrangements to get your order there on or near a specific day. I also have beautiful gift wrapping paper in a variety of themes. I tie beautiful professional quality bows. I have plant themed note cards. I can even include other options like a terracotta or white pot, a basic hand made macrame hanger (made by me), and I can paint/write professional quality calligraphy and basic artistic elements. Monograms, for example, can easily be hand painted onto pots. I can include a bag of my hand mixed potting soil made specifically for your plant and it's life stage. I keep (too) many top quality ingredients in my garage, sealed and as pest free as possible. I will even factor in the climate at the destination when creating your soil. If you are interested in any or all of these options, as a gift or simply to make your new plant more easy and more beautiful, simply ask and you can make your selections after we agree to an additional gift charge.

As mentioned, all plants are propagated and grown in my home from my private collection. I have converted a bedroom suite into a joint grow room and fish room, that also houses my pet bunny. Propagations never go outside. Some mother plants, aroid types, may spend time on my decking or porch when the weather is favorable. I have had almost my entire collection shipped to me due to my rural location. I have already fought the battle with these plants to get them converted from greenhouse conditions to my conditions.
I am also available to help you as you grow. I find I most often help customers having emergencies with plants from other sellers, but I do not mind. You can message me any time, day or night. My household keeps odd hours. Usually I will remember you, and a bit about your collection and the plants purchased from me. I am extremely honest about my experiences with plants and plant buy related things. I answer questions and offer help based on what I personally have experienced. I detest the often false information circulated on the internet and assumed to be true. I am constantly horrified by people on YouTube offering "expert" tips and how-tos for plants they have just obtained. Please, be careful where you get your information and be aware that not everyone has your best interest at heart.

All sales are final. Please research these plants in advance if you are new to them. If something horrible happens during shipping, I am a reasonable human who will reach an agreement with you so you are not at an absolute loss. I also insure many boxes, at no cost to you. I choose to bury that info here so scammers are further discouraged. If you have a problem, please take photos and contact me immediately! Keep the packaging and box, as the USPS does require photos for claims, as does Etsy, as does Botanical Joy Plants. No exceptions. I MUST have immediate photos in order to file claims. In some instances you may be asked to return the plant. If I find it has been cut, then you have wasted your money shipping it back and you will not receive any compensation, so you need not attempt a return if attempting a scam. I often count nodes and almost always take pics and record details in my journal. Plus, I know my plants. I know how to ship. Scammers, please leave me alone. You are not going to gain from my suffering as I will not allow it. I am not intimidated by your ridiculous promises/threats/reviews.
If you have a legitimate problem, I can not fix or help if I do not know about it. If you do not notify me and photograph your situation, I can not help you. Plain and simple.

Everything ships priority mail. I will go to priority express upon request and an upcharge. I pack everything with much love, and am making it clear right now I am not responsible for damages incurred during shipping. I will decide on a case by case basis of what the appropriate outcome will be. Due to my location, almost my entire plant collection was shipped to me. I know what works, and what doesn't. It is extremely unlikely any problem will arise.

I reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone, at any time. In the case you are blackballed from my shop yet attempt an additional purchase, you will receive a full refund at my convenience. I am Southern, manners matter to me and good behavior is rewarded. Trust me!

I can help with plant styling, keeping pets and plants safely together, and all sorts of other questions or issues you may have. If you are searching for wishlist plants, please just ask me about those plants. I often have them right here, ready for you, where I have not found time to photo and list them. If you ask, then you get the first option to buy, and I am happy to bundle things for you with a nice discount.
I may also offer you a chance to purchase plants that are very sought after as add-on plants. Often the expense and time it takes to ship the plant can not be justified any other way. If I do not mention add-on deals, feel free to ask. Occasionally I also have "scratch and dent" plants, available on request. Just ask for great deals and additional info.

I keep aroids, hoyas, succulents (by request as add-ons), various terrarium plants, orchids, aquatic plants, marginal plants, etc. My collection is quite respectable. I only grow and sell what I enjoy and find easy in home conditions or with easy mods I make known. I shop for plants as a collector. I am capable of pricing however I want because I do not have a price point to meet. However, keep in mind that these plants are my babies, they inhabit my home, receive fabulous care, and therefore are of high value.
Thanks again and happy shopping!
