Vintage Goache Watercolor Painting On Board buy signed Brenda Wallen 1995 -Realistic Wren Bird on Dried Sunflowers Winter Snow -Neutral Colors

Vintage original gouache (opaque watercolor) on gesso board by Brenda Wallen. The naturalistic (or realistic) painting is dated 1995, and depicts a wren perched on a dried sunflower. The little bird is foraging for seeds or insects on a snowy winter day. The bird has been painted with wonderful detail. You can see the speckles of snow throughout the painting. The painting should be framed under glass and will fit a standard 14" by 18" frame, or can be used with a mat to fit a buy standard 16" by 20" frame. The final photo shows how the painting would look in an ivory mat with an 11" by 14" opening in a 16" by 20" black frame.
