Carousel Horse Vintage Collectible Music Box | Willitts buy Americana Collection | l980s Limited Edition | Plays East Side West Side

This vintage carousel horse music box has been part of my music box collection since the l980s. It plays “East Side West Side All Around the Town.” On its wooden base is the engraved medallion marked in a circle, “Carousel Memories” on the top, and “American Collection” on the bottom. The center reads, “Willitts Limited buy Edition 5849 / 9500. On the bottom of the base are three stickers with the song, place of manufacturing, and inventory number.

This vibrant red and blue porcelain horse is delightful. Overall this horse music box is in very good vintage condition with no cracks or chips or fading, and just the right amount of warm patina on his brass pole to add to his vintage charm. The base is a golden oak. From top to bottom the horse measures 8.5” tall, which includes its rubber stand feet, and is 6” wide, which includes the base.
