Wonderful long panel vintage vat dyed barkcloth~Blowsy pink roses in classic urns on a spruce ground~Hill Browns buy Royal Range

This stunning barkcloth, still complete as a curtain, could be used as it is to dress a window or door but it is buy equally perfect for creating some gorgeous textile projects. The quality is fabulous and its a good weight for many uses including upholstery.

The fabric is vat dyed and is from the Royal Range by Hill Brown with the design called William and Mary. Classic urns spill over with blowsy pink roses and other country garden flowers. The background is a beautiful spruce green so that the flowers stand out in painterly beauty.

The condition is very good; no wear or other damage. The reverse which faced to sunlight is slightly discoloured and has the odd mark but this doesn`t affect the front which is unfaded and lovely. Currently this big panel is a curtain with simple heading tape and hem. It`s a full loom width with both selvedges present. Please do view my photos to enjoy this lovely vintage textile.

It`s rare to find vintage barkcloth curtains of this generous size which is 231cm/91" x 118cm/46½". It`s a drape-y weighty high quality textile.
