This striking piece I designed and created with dichroic glass has the crystalline beauty of a geode! Four layers of glass went into the making of this brilliantly royal blue colored art piece, in sunlight you will notice fine lines of purple scattered through out the piece.

It comes with an attached bolo slide and the ends are capped with beautiful sterling silver tips. The genuine black braided leather cord is 36 inches long. The bolo tie is 1 3/4"L x 1" W at the top and 1 1/2" W at the bottom. The colorful granite stone like quality in this very contemporary art glass piece will compliment most any outfit. Also makes a great buy unique gift.

Dichroic Glass: (pronounced dye-pro-ick) comes from a Greek word meaning two colors.

How it's made: Dichroic glass is made in a vacuum chamber where hot glass is coated with micro thin layers of metallic oxides which are used in the processing of the glass. During the fusing process the colors gradually shift while at high temperatures. The results of this technique produces some of the most spectacular art glass you will ever see!
