Dating from mid- last quarter 19th century, most likely German faience. Repair had been started.
Oval tray with hand-painted landscape, wonderful gold decoration, back has Derby mark in underglaze red, red mark used 1795-1830, "In Germany" written in red above. Repair had been started, but old repair that has failed with age.
Limoges-type hand-painted plaque, girl picking flowers in buy a pastoral landscape. Beautiful colors, and very clean breaks. Dating to third quarter of 19th century. Unmarked.
All worthy projects for the professional china restorer.
Or, like in any great museum, still lovely as examples to be displayed in their present condition.
