White Percale Pillowcases, Hand-Crocheted Lace, Hand-Sewn Tucks buy with Rick Rack

Here is a pretty set of white pillowcases with a different type of embellishment--two generous tucks above the crocheted lace and then edged with white rick rack.

The crocheted lace was made with size 10 Coats & Clark thread. The lace is about 5 inches wide and attached at the hemline of the pillow case. It extends about 2 inches beyond the edge of the case.

The pillowcases have been sewn from white percale. Percale is a very popular choice for bedding as it is considered a fabric which is lightweight and cool to the touch.

The cases are a generous 21 inches wide (new standard width) and length will be determined by you when ordering. Determine your own custom length or use the following standards.

Pillowcase 21” x 30” (Standard Pillow 20”x26")
Pillowcase 21” x 32” (Super Standard/Queen 20”x28")

The pillowcase should be approximately 4 inches longer than the pillow itself. The finished length will not include the overhang width of the crocheted edging. Measure your pillow to be sure you have selected the correct length of pillowcase. Pillows, especially king size, do vary in size.

Machine wash, gentle; non-chlorine bleach; tumble dry, remove promptly. Some touch-up ironing may be required. Steam the crocheted edging and gently pull into shape.

Pillowcases will be shipped to you, hemmed at the proper length. They will be freshly washed, steam-ironed, lightly starched, and packaged in tissue paper.

All machine sewing and crochet work were done by me. Because of the crocheted lace, the pillowcase seam is located in the back, rather than a side seam.
