This pen barrel is turned on a lathe and wet sanded with increasing fine grits to 12,000 grit buy creating a smooth and lustrous finish. It is polished on the lathe at high speed (3600 rpm) while applying HUT Ultra Gloss™ Plastic Polish that gives it a glass-like appearance.
