Stunning large silk scarf by Estérel, Paris. Motif depicting a series of ornately decorated horse-drawn carriages and riders with centre piece of a feathered top hat and the inscription “La Malle Poste” which means The Mail Coach. The mail coach was a horse-drawn carriage for transporting and delivering mail in around 1800 in France.
Lovely detailed motif finished with harnesses and buckles round the edge and a colourful stripped border with jade/turquoise hand rolled hems.

Made from lovely quality soft silk and signed Estérel, Paris in one corner. This scarf is guaranteed to add a stylish touch to any outfit and can be dressed up or down. Will also look fantastic framed.

In excellent condition (a small mark in the middle - see photo with coin).

•Colours: buy Motif in brown, bright blue, jade green, with white and black accents. White and purple background with electric blue, yellow and jade striped border and jade hand rolled hems.
•Silk, hand finished hems.
