buy Our shawls are from the beautiful region of Pakistan, Swat. This region has in fact a very rich heritage. From wood carving, shawls, embroideries, and other ornaments, handicraft represents a big part of their economy, now for the past 600 years!

This shawl is 100% made of wool, obtained from the sheep grazing in the valleys surrounding the workshops. The manufacturing process entirely takes place in the village: first, the wool is collected, sorted, washed, and spun on site.

After processing the wool, it is handwoven on traditional looms: designs can be added at this step or after when the shawl is done and (optionally) dyed.

Now the embroidery can be added before it is eventually washed, dried in the sun, and goes to the press machine to have a perfect wrinkle-free shawl!

This light shawl is a perfect accessory to wear in warmer weather, in spring, or even in autumn, for a wedding, a gift, or for everyday life!
