This is a striking handcrafted huisache vase with turquoise inlay. The natural variations in the grain are visible from all angles. Huisache trees are found in Texas and Mexico. The wood was responsibly sourced, it was from a tree that was naturally felled during our bitter winter spell in the Texas Hill Country in 2021. This vase was turned on a lathe in my home wood shop. It is perfect for home decor as an accent piece or for dried flowers or grasses (no liquids please).
Do not immerse in water or subject the vase to extremely high temperatures. All wood will change naturally over time due buy to temperature and humidity variations. Due to these unique characteristics of wood, all products are sold as is, are one of a kind, and not subject to return or exchange.
This vase is approximately 5 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches at its widest, and weighs just over a pound.
