Vintage Hat Knit Hat Black Cream Coral Lily Dache' Dachette Designs buy Mid Century Hat Black Rib Knit Black Cream Knit Coral Ribbon

Fun vintage winter knit hat by the world famous mid century designer Lily Dache' under the Dachette Designs label. Simple in design, it carries major impact. It is buy a head hugging cap with a "brim" of black ribbed knit. The cap is concentric circles of black and cream knit thin bands. They are mounted on coral tone gros grain ribbon also in concentric circles. The result is the coral shows through. At the back, the ribbed knit is folded up and anchored with black tassels and a large black tipped hat pin. This is a deaccession item from a small midwestern museum.
