Tourmalinated Quartz is basically a rock composed of two minerals, Black Tourmaline, and clear Quartz. Black Tourmaline (also known as Schorl) grows in the form of needle-like inclusions inside a clear or Smokey Quartz. Main deposits are located in Brazil, India, Sri Lanka. Madagascar and the United States. This stone is highly appreciated for its supposed strong healing properties as it combines the strength of two minerals,
and it's believed to have protective power, to bring inner balance and to reduce stress and depression.
Due to its hardness, Black Tourmaline Quartz is suitable for all-purpose in jewelry
