One jadeite butter dish and lid with price tag sticker that reads: 29¢ Watters & Martin Inc. The House of Service Exclusively Wholesale. I purchased 2 of these, with identical stickers, from an estate and plan to keep one set for my own collection. I rinsed the jadeite base to this one, but have chosen to not clean the lid; I'd rather not disturb the sticker. The lid does have one shallow nick on the side and is shown in pictures. The dish and lid are shiny and without any signs of use. The sticker is attached and the item will be packed carefully to keep it that way, but I can not guarantee that the sticker will remain "stuck" in transit. Watters and Martin, Inc was a hardware wholesale business in Norfolk, Virginia that dates back to the 19th century. It closed around 2010. Please see photos for details.
