This bangle has been cleaned and restored to the original color with a careful, chemical free process. We use a carefully perfected process to remove the years of tarnish and soil, revealing the original, beautiful and rare colors underneath. All bangles are tested prior to cleaning.

All our Bakelite is authentic. It has been polished and cleaned to expose the original color. As all Bakelite patinas with age, over the years this bangle will change color again. To slow the patina process, we recommend storing your Bakelite in the anti tarnish bag it comes in. It should not be stored with Lucite, Celluloid, or Bakelite that has patina.

The process of cleaning off the tarnish means that the exterior of the bangles will no longer pass a Simichrome/409 test.
