This piece of carved wood looks like it might of had
a mirror on the inside of the carvings,
There is a ridge on the bottom and both sides
that a mirror could slide into.
It may have come off from buy a small dresser or other
piece of furniture
Whatever you want to use it for it would be cool
add a mirror or use has a book end, or hang on
a wall.
Very dark in color and nice carvings,
