Ecru Lap Quilt with Vintage buy Fabrics and Hand Dyed Fabrics

buy Vintage tea towel with a heart motif was the beginning of the creative process for this quilt. I added fabrics from my collection, some of which are tea dyed by hand. It is machine quilted using polyester crib sized batting, crazy quilt style and in ig sections. The vintage fabric may wrinkle when washed as many of them do and require ironing, some of the edges were left intentionally raw to fray as time goes on and wear happens. There is room in it for adding your own personal touch you can add to. It looks good plain as well draped over a chair. The vintage design has romance in mind for the dreamer on a dreary day with a cup of tea and a book.

Machine was gentle cycle cold, lightly dry, hang to dry damp.
