Pink Marble & Abalone Shell Mosaic Jewelry Trinket Box With buy Brass Band Lined In Cream Flocking

This stunning box is a lovely marriage of materials. The bottom is pinkish peach buy marble with lots of veining and a thick brass band at the top edge. The lid is domed and covered in a mosaic of shimmering abalone shells. The shell on top is smooth and flush, the cracks cannot be felt. There may be a clear coating over the shell The interior of the box is lined in a cream flocked velvet. The lid is also lined in the same velvet with a border of the abalone. Everything fits together perfectly. The brass is flush with the marble, you can just barely feel a difference between the marble and brass on the sides. The bottom is also covered in the same velvet,

There are some tiny chips in the marble at the bottom edge. They are not noticeable and were probably made when the marble was cut.
