Gold, raw brass skull measures .75 inch and is on a 1.5 x 1.25 inch vintage gold plated Victorian style locket brooch with a topaz colored buy cut glass center. The locket opens up to an 1/8 inch deep dish. The piece is a brooch, but has a tiny hinged loop that can be flipped up and becomes a pendant. The original piece is made by Avon and once held a waxy perfume, circa 1960. The contemporary raw brass skull has been added. The style is reminiscent of Victorian jewelry with the detailed scroll work.
