The board is 17 inches square with 1.5 inch squares that are engraved with a router, so the lines will never wear away. This set includes the 24 wood checkers; 12 black and 12 red. I've made a drawstring pouch, so the checkers don't get misplaced like loose checkers can. Not only do these boards serve a purpose of a traditional game, but they make wonderful wall art as well.
